Melinda is a local Indiana artist whose connection to Eskenazi Health began with her mother, who underwent nursing training at the old  General Hospital.  Melinda grew up listening to her mother’s nursing stories. After finishing her art degree, she was painting a mural when she was approached and asked, “ Would you like to work with the Show House? “ 

The following year, a local designer asked her to create art for the Show House space. Twenty-Two years later, Melinda is still creating art for the Guild and is an honorary member. Melinda’s mom is proud of her Show House and Eskenazi connection. 

For this 2023 home, she  worked on a surprise piece! Melinda painted the Failey House front door. You are going to love it! The painting can be viewed in the Eskenazi Room of the Show House.
