There are many benefits to joining St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild. We help our community by raising money for Eskenazi Health. Since 1907, we have raised over $13 million supporting the patients and professionals at our city’s public hospital. Our primary fundraiser is our annual Decorators’ Show House and Gardens. Now embarking on its 60th year, the Decorators’ Show House and Gardens is the longest-running tour of its kind in the country.
Membership impacts us personally. You will develop your potential, make new friends and find a volunteer placement that is right for you. You will enjoy being part of an Indianapolis tradition. Along with our time volunteering, we have social events including our Founders’ Day Luncheon in September, Dusty Boots Party in January to Preview the new show house, and the Opening Night Party to celebrate the start of the Show House.
Membership recruitment takes place each Spring from April 1 - June 1. While it is always our wish to meet potential new members personally and be available for questions regarding SMHG, due to the COVID-19 Crisis we have suspended our Recruitment Events this Spring. The recruitment process has been extended to September 1st, and will be completed on-line only.
