Membership in St. Margaret's Hospital Guild

There are many benefits to joining St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild.  We help our community by raising money for Eskenazi Health.  Since 1907, we have raised over $13 million supporting the patients and professionals at our city’s public hospital. Our primary fundraiser is our annual Decorators’ Show House and Gardens. Now embarking on its 58th year, the Decorators’ Show House and Gardens is the longest-running tour of its kind in the country.

Membership impacts us personally. You will develop your potential, make new friends and find a volunteer placement that is right for you. You will enjoy being part of an Indianapolis tradition.  Along with our time volunteering, we have social events including our Founders’ Day Luncheon in September, Dusty Boots Party in January to Preview the new show house, and the Opening Night Party to celebrate the start of the Show House.

We have Potential New Member Events during the year.  To learn more about St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild, you can attend one of the events but that is not a requirement.  Applications are accepted through June 1st and the New Member Class starts in August.

There are both financial and time requirements with SMHG membership and they will be explained at Potential New Member Information Events.  We would invite you to attend one of these events.
